Ahoy all, sorry for the delay.
First, thanks a lot to everyone who responded. There were a few different angles this was addressed with, basically:
-Old cargo container
-Old van
-Pre fab shed (either prebuilt or some assembly required)
-Build your own shack
The later two seem more feasible for my yard and situation.
Issues brought up were:
-Local building codes
I think this is largely a non-issue in my area, not that there aren't codes, just they aren't enforced. Better safe than sorry though.
-Weather
Keeping the inside of the structure dry and not too hot nor cool - stability in a storm would be needed too. During the winter it gets cold (at worst 30F at night, at best 60F in the day) and wet, so condensation would need be considered as well.
-Security
Hadn't even thought of this one, though things are pretty quiet in my area. A lock couldn't hurt.
-Power
I don't know if an extension chord would cut it (especially if it was raining a bit) - I may be drawing upwards of 2000W: computer (a laptop would be best, had I one), soldiering iron, o'scope, space heater, dehumidifier, radio...
-And, whether any of this would be under the good graces of my parents
On that last note, I asked them about a shed I saw demo'd at a local hardware store, as can be seen here:

My dad brought up it'd be frigid in the winter, and hellish in the summer.
Ultimately, I'd just want my old garage workspace back, though my brother took it over to gut an old Macintosh for of his own build projects.
This may be a work in progress :)
I like Paul Perry's statement about adverse conditions forcing you to organize though. Maybe I will just make do with my room, as it's all I got for the time being.
Thanks again for the help!
_Kyle
