Mark,
To me it sounds like the sample gate (period of time that the sample switch
is letting signal through) is too long. That would allow the signal to
change while it's being sampled.

Hi,
What is a normal acquisition time/cap size for an LF398 sample and
hold? I built a Buchla 266's sample and hold and I find that the
10ms/.18uF combination is giving a pop at the transistions if I have
a fast moving input signal. Seems like that big of a cap is nice to
hold for a long time, but it needs a long time to charge up. I'm not
sure if that's normal for this module.
