I strongly recommend you get a few of Ken Stone's power supply delay  
boards:

Although you may have a power supply big enough for the steady state  
operation of your modules, it's quite common for those modules to suck  
too much power during the initial start up phase which can cause your  
power supply to go into a brain dead mode. I was having no end of  
problems with this for several years until I got some of Ken's boards.  
Since installing these in every cabinet I have not had one problem  
with power at startup. And, it's way cool when I turn on the power bar  
and hear all these relays click a half second apart. Manly, yes, very  
manly.
