[sdiy] Boards for a parametric EQ?

If you are looking for a very high quality voltage controlled parametric EQ
(log scales 'n all). Two channels/bands could be made from one single
SSM2040 filter IC, configured as two SVF's. Although these chips are not
available I've made some 'clones' that I have some spare of. These are
22mmx22mmx8mm with 0.1" spaced legs and 0.7" wide DIL and are electrically
equivalent to the ssm2040. Two of these 'chips' could make you a compact 4
band Parametric EQ.. with some design effort of course!

Subject: [sdiy] Boards for a parametric EQ?
Slightly OT maybe,
I have been looking into building my own parametric EQ, looks like the
best route is to use the BP output of a SVF. To build one EQ would be
like 3-5 of these filters, possibly with different component values to
zero in on a certain frequency range. Our beloved resonance would not
have to make an appearance for this..
Does anyone have boards for sale of a simple design for this? Would
anyone have interest in buying some of these if I did a run of them?
(seems like an ideal candidate to cut boards of for DIY purposes)
Thanks,
Robert
