[sdiy] DIGISYNTONE/ DM8520??? SCALES FROM DIVIDERS???

A TOG is the same thing, a buunch of fixed dividers that implement
a ratio to get an equally tempered scale.

There was a paper years ago ... iirc by Ralph W. Burhans (or close) entitled
"TTL for Monophonic Devices" in the Journal of the Audio Engineering Society
that shows an implementation of a divider based instrument.  It could be built
today if you used 74HC logic.   It too used a diode matrix for the
programming.

Check it out if you can find it... its from the early 70's
