I had the opportunity to look into reverb development on my employer's
time a couple of years ago. The target platform was a cheap mp3 player IC,
so reverb quality was secondary to low resource usage. Two weeks of full
time development produced something that didn't sound outright horrible.
It also led to the realization that you'd need several months (or years)
of full time work and access to good listening room to get actually good
results.

My advice: Forget it and just buy one of the relatively cheap entry level
reverb units.
