[sdiy] rhythm/melody synthesizer from electronotes issues 1,2,3

has anyone ever built this? it has a fair amount of overlap with the PSYCHE TONE and seems to provide some great possibilities for CV generation. however, the schematics/diagrams are a bit messy (these WERE the first issues after all) so i was just wondering if anyone here had built it, or had any comments on it or similar articles/projects.
