Summary: Inconclusive as far as cancer ala asbestos fibers (at least 
this article, being the only that I read).

The epoxy writeup doesn't mention solubility of the Bisphenol A. I.e., 
whether the danger is from fumes, cured or uncured epoxy, manufacturing 
only, etc. I'm not sure I would take the chance given those nasty 
sounding effects. :>
