[sdiy] SDIY xmas gifts??

well it is almost the holiday time!
my wife wants a list as do other family members.

so i was wondering about some good, but not too expensive items for SDIY:

1.as always...looking for MORE MORE MORE good electronics books.
i have all the standards (electronotes, cmos and ttl , filter and opamp cookbooks,) but am ALWAYS trying to find some more (often older titles on analog stuff) interesting books to buy on amazon. recently got art of electronics and intuitive IC opamps. but i want more!

2. looking for a place (that will ship) to buy a BENCH (wood)

3. a good cheap drill press

4. A GOOD soldering iron (with temp control,etc)

5. A good SET of  drill bits (any recommendations?)


6. ANY Other good electronics work gifts i have forgotten. 



last year i got a dremel, a good set of wirecutters and a few screwdrivers. and i bought myself a scope.

what are YOU guys asking for???
