Heh... Could have been me, though I'm hardly the only McMaster fan 
here. I learned of it through my wife who was a "Technical Buyer" at 
a large cruise line. One point she made is that while McMaster-Carr 
carries (and stocks) practically everything, it's rarely the cheapest 
source. It's a tremendous resource, though, and I love using its 
website to find specific materials. (Don't get me wrong -- I buy from 
them, too!)
