[sdiy] What hook-up wire to use for pots, switches & jacks?

I prefer using eithr #24 or #26 wire...(#26 is pretty fine...) I used
#22 on a real early synth I built....and the wire bundle to the front
panel ended up being quite large...

The #26 wire I chuck up in an electric drill and twist about 10 feet at
a time...four wires at a time are about the most I twist...
