I bought recently a Roland SH-2 and I have to admit I am stunned about 
how perfect they made this little synth. There is nothin special about 
its technical features (in fact "a sawtooth is a sawtooth"), but the 
amount of each potentiometer reach, each dimension of a parameter is 
perfect. The made the pots do exactly what you want them to do. There is 
nothing to complain about.

And I think this is still one part a small producer can play in the 
market. Don't do something very special, but do it perfectly.
