i have mentioned it before but i want to try and see if anyone has any interest in a pcb of the tracking section of the audio ark.
this would basically allow you to use your modular to replace all the OTHER synth functions of the audio ark.
it wouldnt be a very big project although i might want to turn over the pcb design to someone better at this sort of thing.
I have tried just the divider section with it's outputs going into a mixer and the sync input of a good vco ( i tested with ken stones vco) and it worke fine.
right now it would be 5 to 9 pots (depending on if it has an internal mixer or not), 2 rotary switches, and three or four 2 way toggles. so it wouldnt have to be a ton of panel space.
HOWEVER...in order to have the HOLD function..it would be a bit MORE complicated as then the audio2gate section would also have to be included (unless i just put an input for your own EXTERNAL audio to gate converter. heck the hold could even be triggered by ANY gate.
i think i will also ask this over at electro-music.com so schematics can be posted, etc.
thanks
