Hi guys,
I have two of these guys now, an H3000S and a H3500 dsx sampling  model.
Both have useage issues, which is why I could afford them...
H3000S - pressing Load sometimes resets the unit
H3500 - pressing the Input/Output button to Input will result in the output
dead or the whole unit 
cycling on and off.
I have yet to open them up - I am waiting for the service manual to arrive.
Any of you have personal history with repair of these - what has died on you
etc.?
I would like to correspond directly with someone who understands the
sampling
option and how to use the various programs...  
I read that there were some 3D programs but it is unclear if these are in
the H3500 or
just in the H3000 DS/E.  What are the numbers?  I'd like to try these.
I also notice that the Steve Vai patches (700 numbers) are not in the H3500.
 Can the
rom be moved over?
I hope to document some of this and put it on my website for a refresh
someday....
I haven't put anything new up there for years....
