[sdiy] Mouser and Re'an knobs ( WAS: RE: [AH] Who Makes this Knob?)

On this subject, has anybody else noticed that Mouser seems to be phasing
out the Re'an knobs in favor of their house-brand Eagle clones? The number
of Re'an styles that they carry has dropped off sharply, while the prices
have jumped. The Eagle ones are now cheaper and have more color choices.
Has anybody used the Eagle knobs and can comment on a Eagle vs. Re'an
quality comparison?

-> and request a quote from Mouser - they can get them with some lead time.
