[sdiy] iec connector confusion

trying to connect a 3 prong ac inlet with fuse to my power one psu.

on the back of the connector, one pin says N, one says gnd, and i assume one is hot.

on the power one it says to connect to AC to pins 1 and 4...however...it doesnt say which one is for N and which one is for HOT.

does it matter?
