Hmmm....
Well - I just got my digi-calipers out to check one....
They ARE 6mm diameter shaft
- perhaps the 5.5mm comes from the measurement of the shortest cross
section - ie perpendicular to the middle slot - this is about 5.6mm
I'd say to go for some Futurlec ones anyways - you'll surely use 'em
sometime!
Personally I've never got charged for import duty on their cheapest
standard shipping rate.
I always make an order just below $100 in value - both for 'safe-side'
customs (though haven't had problems with the few larger orders) and for
cheap shipping...
If you just order pots then they generally send 'em out within 1 or 2
days and then it takes 1 to 2 weeks to reach me in Uk-land.
