Bob, we're not trying to insult you. I stand by everything I said,
literally. It wouldn't help you much if you got Google to index your
page, it's very hard to navigate.

"Don't make me think" is a good book.

Also, "Designing Web Usability" by "Jakob Nielsen" is supposedly worth a read.

Another good, and free, tip is the Joel Spolsky blog entries on user
interface design. He mostly has the viewpoint of an applications
programmer, so perhaps his articles are more useful if you know some
app programming. But the principles apply to any form of computer user
interfaces.
