I actually use them.  But then my panels are 3mm wood with a laminated front
on top of that.  So I can drill right through them and not have the
tabs stick out on the other side.

Futurlec 16mm Alpha's all the way though.  Only exception is when I need
values that Futurlec doesn't carry, like 1M log.  In those cases I usually
opt to get D-shaft Alpha's from a local store for that module.

Anyone ever seen 1M log split shaft Alpha anywhere?
