I just went and spoke with the cad guys here at work and they said it
shouldn't be a problem with the following caveats for the pcb house:
1. they support the complexity of the board (number layers, trace width,
etc)
2. the films have registration marks they can work with.
Our cad guys said the industry is starting to support direct laser
imaging, but the majority is still film based.
