Dan - are they the ones with the black rubber insert that the legs of the LED go through, then it slides up into the chrome bezel?

I couldn't get them to play nice either. I ended up chopping all the little rubber bits in half and jamming them right up into the mount hole. It worked(-ish).. A blob of some safe type of glue/epoxy might do it?

They do look cool on a panel though.
