I've had DJ mixers with flat toggle switches. They're handy for doing 'transformer' style tricks like gating and chopping. You can just flick the switch back and forth between your thumb and forefinger in the same way you might play with a cross-fader.

That's probably as much about the 'feel' and the 'weight' of the switch as the shape of its arm though.
