[sdiy] tinning home etched boards?

Dan,

I have ExpressPCB on my computer, although I've never used it. I just
opened it and placed some pads on the grid. The default pad in that program
is 0.056" diameter with a 0.029" hole. I would have thought that any such
program would have pads with holes. In any case, put the holes in and your
problem will be solved.

Also, ditto on the high drill speed.

Cheers,
Dave

the pads that i have been using in pcbexpress DO NOT have those tiny holes
in the middle. they are just holes. so, yes, that is part of the issue.
maybe someone here who is a pcbexpress user could point me toward a method
of adding these to the default pads...

thanks
