[sdiy] tinning home etched boards?

Dan - I think you need to polish up your boards after you take the
acetone off --- use wire wool / emery board / sand paper.
You want the copper to be nice and shiny - especially if its been a
couple of weeks (or more) since you etched the boards.
ps - in my figuring -- your dremel drill should do you absolutely fine.!
