Has anyone ever worked on one of these things?  I was figuring maybe a 
blown light but the light is good.  Then I see the way this 
thing..supposedly...works... it's got a thin metal strip and felt pad 
under it all the way along the keyboard it appears to me.  I see how 
it's supposed to work.  I think...the problem is that the foam as become 
too flimsy.  And thus when you push on a key there isn't enough BOW in 
the metal to create a length contraction that pulls the hings on the 
piece that covers/uncovers the light path. 

But there's another strangeness.  When I move it manually I get a wah 
effect instead of vibrato!  The fixed vibrato works.  The pot for the 
touch is attached as it should be to that fixed vibrato pot and when you 
hit the 'vibrato mute' it mutes the wah effect for sure.  Very strange.  
Has anyone worked on one of these or do you have a working one to let me 
know if it's supposed to vibrato or wah? :-)  I assume vibrato since 
that's what it says but it also bends the note a bit so you can do a 
manual vibrato by vibrating your fingers I guess :-) -Bob
