[sdiy] pseudo-random tone generator

originally i had thought i built both BUT here was the catch that ended up making me stop on the 2nd one....i didnt have enough 555's at the time.

what I DID do though was add CV control, and messed around with having a vclfo mess with the frequency and the patterns. it was wild but took up a big breadboard.

if this had been pcb i would have built it in a second.

IMPORTANT...these buggers ONLY seem to work with +5 volts. i tried it on + 12 and +15 and got nothing. ALSO when i tried interfacing certain VCO's and other modular stuff to them that was being powered by 12

i had little or no luck
in fact i think i posted ON sdiy about this very issue.

so watch out for that.

I was able to use a different opamp though then what he recommended as i didnt have the original one.

good luck and please let me know of your progress. I LOVE pseudo random stuff!!

thanks
