[sdiy] FPGA based synth update

I am getting closer.  Here is a screen shot of the output from the 
mixer/vca module:

What you see here is two oscillators that are mixed together.  The 
relative levels of the two waveforms is being controlled by the 
"Sustain" control in the envelope generator.  The logic analyzer is only 
1024 samples deep...so this is about the best I can really show off...

The next step is to get the I2S interface working...as far as the 
hardware goes.  Then I need to write the firmware for the Midi 
interface...again...hardware I haven't really checked out yet...

But...it is coming together.  I wish I had the time for a filter... :-(

I will do that later.  I am not even sure if I will be able to route the 
design with the filter in it.  Right now, I am at about 13% utilization 
of the logic fabric...and already I am having difficulty with ISE not 
being able to route the design.
