[sdiy] JH Frequency Shifter question

My Frequency Shifter can shift "thru Zero".
So, when you turn the knobs, or apply modulation voltages such that a shift
goes down to zero, and further into the "negative" frequency range, what has
been an "up-shifting" output, now becomes a "down-shifting" output, and vice
versa. In order to indicate this on the front panel, you have the "Direction
LED", abbreviated DirLED on the board connector.

Subject: [sdiy] JH Frequency Shifter question

What is the DirLD indicator on the JH FS-1A frequency shifter? I'd like to
label the dual led but cant' quite figure out what it is telling me.
