I think the 'cheapest' thing to do, is to have a power supply - a regulated
one - and hang a multiturn pot across it.
And get a high accuracy multimeter to tell you when you reach 1v etc.
It is going to be MUCH cheaper to get a multimeter of any given accuracy,
than an adjustable voltage supply.

I was looking around for a cheep 0-5 (you know 0,1,2,3,4,5...)
Generator for calibrating my filter sense i dont have a keyboard or
any type of voltage generator.
