[sdiy] measuering ac voltage off xfmr

i wanted to measure some voltages off the Bando EP-55 xfmr in the  
matrix 6....

it looks like the xfmr has 2 secondary windings, rated 41V and 30VA

i cannot tell on the schematic what is one of the secondary (?) AC  
supply coming off , with VIOLET GREY VIOLET COLERS....is it 9V AC?,  
grey is center tapped so should thest read on the board +/-9V?

i think my DVM automatically senses AC voltages (up to 500V CAT II  
ratings) so should it read something on PINS 3 & 5 on the display  
board connector J2?

sorry if this is an obvious question, i am used to measuring DC  
voltages but not really AC, is ground the center tap (the grey wire  
coming off the xfmr)
