As I wrote that line I said " I really should put ( woman ) or ( person ) in 
parenthesis, but I was speaking in terms of this case, however Cindy and all

You are of course correct that every one needs to feel important, deserves 
to be respected, and have attention given to them if they are to be a friend 
or lover.
My wife and I spend time helping each other out with whatever it is we are 
struggling with and it is not always 50/50 either, but we are committed, and 
we love each.
