ok will do, i am stumped as all voltages on the power supply board are
within the given tolerances in the service manual......

i am not getting any voltage readings off the -42V power rails, which
come straight off the xfmr.... odd as it was powering the display
yesterday morning now nothing.....

maybe the xfmr needs replacing? i would hate to do that as the other
rails off it seems to working fine (the -5V, +5A, +5B, +12V, -12V)
all seems to be present at the power supply and i measured them on
their respective destinations and seems aok!

i will double check the voltages off the xfmr, i think its 2 -42V and
their ground? the schemo is hard to read!

i will pull the ICs and clean them, what should i use? i have an IC
chip puller but can i wipe them off with some solvent? alcohol?

cheers and again thanks for the advice!

P.S.

its an amazing synth! i love the matrix Mod!
