[sdiy] JH Frequency shifter and patch cables

Hi David,

Don't get mixed up with "screened" and "co-axial" cables. Although
they are
similar in construction they have different purposes. Screened cable
is used
to avoid the main conductor picking up noise from surrounding
circuitry. Co-
axial cable or TV aerial cable is made to provide a constant impedance
match
between the aerial and transmitter / receiver (Don't worry about the
tech stuff).
You need good screened audio cable. Do you have a local electronics
store ?,
they should sell this sort of cable by the metre (foot for our friends
in the US).
