I see it now more clearly now too, and I was too quick to castigate RG
Keen's website graphs. It deals with the specific example of needing
resistance to increase as one turns the pot clockwise. And for that it
is correct in its assumption that we can make a reverse log variable
resistor.
But for so many [all?] of our synth needs we use a reverse log pot the
other way around - and for this application that extra resistor does not
work.
Thanks for the heads up on this. It was good to revisit this idea again.
