Would the same apply to pots wired as volume controls - i.e. where one pin goes to Earth/Ground?
So, for example, a mixer with a board that was just for the volume pots would better having it's own dedicated path to Earth as close to the supply as possible rather than sharing a path to Earth via a daisy chain from another board?
