[sdiy] Touch Pad controller

I asked this on the Moog Forums, but didn't get a helpful response.

Alongside the modular I'm building, I bought a Moog Voyager rack mount. The
rack mount doesn't have the touch pad the regular Voyager has, but it has
the control voltage inputs for X, Y, A (pressure I think) and a gate (using
the VX-352 expansion box).

Is there a design out there for a touch pad controller that will give me a
+/-5 volt X, Y, and A control with a gate? I've not seen a suitable
commercial one. A joystick is an option, but I like the idea of a touch pad.

I'm not adverse to building one, but don't want to make the time to design
one as it would take a lot of remedial learning and my fun time is being
spent soldering kits and practicing piano.

Thanks

David
