[sdiy] good sliders for synth diy?

Alpha also makes Sliders.  They are "okay".  I much prefer the Alps sliders
which are hard to find in the US however Farnell has them...

These are similar to what Roland used in devices like the TR707 and maybe
others.  Quality I think is better then the Alpha slide pots.

If Farnell didn't charge so much for shipping to the US I would have
recently ordered a ton of these, but the Alpha parts were local and much
cheaper.
