well then how much of the +15V supply do you have left ?
You could measure the current that you are drawing now, and see if you have
enough surplus.
I'd guess that a midi converted would not use more than 100 - 200mA
Is the converter a commercial unit, if so they should be able to tell you
what the current draw is. If its a DIY, is there a schematic available ?
