[sdiy] white noise from resistor?

Thanks for the advice, everyone!
I'm certainly glad I asked.
I knew there were many different ways to get 'noise' but the interesting
thing is, each of these ways has a fan.
And the other thing is, though I think some of those circuits are going to
be a bit "off-white", for a music application, maybe that isn't a problem.
Sometimes I think I'm building lab gear, not music stuff...
