Hi everybody,
First of all thanks for all the help and the input you all have given
me so far. Since the S/H submodule for the ARP 2600 is packed in
plastic I can't do any troubleshooting or repair. So I would have to
recreate it. But the idea of implementing a newer design sounds even
better .
Looking at Yves Usson's Site http://yusynth.net/Modular/index.html the
Noise Generator Sample/Hold. I was wondering if I could use just the
bottom of the schematic for my purpose?
Since the ARP 2600 generates a clock signal and Noise Generator on
other parts of the PCB I was wondering if that clock that is produced
can be used to drive this circuit. (compatible)on PIN4 of the 4015 is
only ( √| signal not a square ) I wonder if that is enough to
trigger the new circuit ?
I have used this circuit from Yves in my DIY Modular Synth and it
works great. I think by removing the Noise Generator part ,the S&H
Rate part and remove the slew rate part I could have a pretty basic S/
H circuit for my 4015 replacement.
Also by removing the Slew Rate I have to remove the whole U2c
circuitry and have U2b pin 7 as S/H output .... right ?
What do you think ?
Csaba
