Note that all the technologies mentioned in PaUl's blog are CMOS 
(sometimes with RF bipolar), but not by a long stretch complementary 
bipolar.  A much more likely route to your custom IC would be using 
something like THAT Corp. 380G transistor arrays and make hybrid IC 
from them.  Or maybe talk to the guys there and convince them of doing 
something monolithic - they've had set up a booth on this years 
Musikmesse, so they are well aware where their target market is.
