In the last few months I found a Kenwood EQ/time delay component (ge-1000)that is labeled as a "time delay for spatial and delay effects"
i opened it up and the only chips that could be BBD's are the SONY 766 chips (sony 766 103 1g)
there are 2 (left and right) and the only other chips are opamps or regulators, etc.
anyway, i can't find any information on them. i bet they'd be great for a flanger or chorus.
also in the last few months I salvaged an early 1980's VCR and while opening it up i found 2 big plastic boxes labelled
"kss DELAY LINE ms-21" and KSS delay line MS-15"
can i use these for delay or phase shift effect?
i am constantly surprised at how many chips DONT turn up in my datasheet searches.
is this because they were just made for a specific product and they were never available to the public?
anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
