Sorry. OT. Bitchin' . This topic is still a mess. And we can't fix it,
I suppose? ;)

Back, way back in times, before w3c gave up, someone said it: "HTML
isn't WYSIWYG, it's to represent information". Well, we have moved on.

So, don't get me wrong - You can impress me with great visuals and aesthetics.

Still I hail for Rainers strict standard compliance message.

Don: "Workaround", "Good Enough" - Is this the message You want to give?
"In the Real World we rather code JS browser detection and hacks
rather than doing w3c compliant pages"?

As user of first browser on "Your Platform" to pass Acid2 test - I get
pretty mad when told "Upgrade to IE4" or if You get the drift - the
page renders ok in Opera, but some "Web Designer" has desided to put
in "I don't understand Your UserAgent, I don't serve You" script.
Cool.

Don't get me started on Firefox - this "alternative" has gathered "Web
Designer" following too - "we support FireFox too, sorry Your browser
isn't supported"

For all "Web Designers" on the list - Quit it or do it compliant.

Uh, oh yeah. Toms, Sebs and Dons pages render just fine ;) And I might
be the first to put "Flash Intro"... uh, nevermind,

Samppa
