Now that I've happily put some op amps and resistors on my schematic,
I'm now wondering about capacitors.
Are there some rules of thumb for about what sizes to allocate on the
board for capacitors of various values?
While we're on the subject of capacitors - I have two kits coming from
Jameco, one with ceramic disks and another with mylar. Are there rules
of thumb of when to use one or the other? (I know for things like VCOs
you want polysterine, but I don't know much beyond that).
