Hi Sean

If you check the snvoice discussion on electro-music forums there is a
mention of the C&K switch to use and how to wire it (sorry I don't have time
to find the exact page in the forum) there is also a switch from a dodgy
ebay seller I wont mention that does the same thing.....i took the risk and
bought some and they have been fine.
Hope it helps

Yes, it's that special switch that I think people use in Buchla 292C
circuits sometimes? I forget the C&K number, but if you look at he German
link in another message you can see how when the switch is in the middle
position, only ONE of the switch contacts has moved: when it's UP, both are
UP, when it's in the middle one is UP and the other DOWN, when it's DOWN
both are DOWN.

You could call this an asynchronous DPDT ON-ON-ON or something like that.

Depending on what you are doing a normal DPDT ON-OFF-ON (more common) can be

used as a three position switch if you are using it to switch different
values of resistors or something.

You could have the top one be 2 resistors in parallel, the middle be just
one of the resistors switched on and the bottom be 2 resistors in series.
However you like, you get the idea.
