[sdiy] Potentiometer linearity questionable..

At the risk of sounding terribly unprofessional, personally I do not 
utilise any form of scale around a pot, even if there is one on the 
panel/display. I make music and sounds with my synths so I am interested 
only what my patch sounds like not how many mS a particular ADSR is set to.

I understand the need for usability in the way the pot interacts with 
the sound, that is; a particular pot law, and that it should be 
monotonic and reproducible. But I'm not sure of the functionality of 
perfectly labelled legending around a pot.

Tom Oberheim didn't bother with increments either.
