No no! I meant is there a market for it? I mean people want and people pay?
I thought maybe I could augment my tube amp & effects pedal business by
selling bent thinks. But I consider my methods to be stochastic rather than
purely random, so I couldn't call what I'd do (and have done) to things as
"bending" per se, but more like "tweaking".
Those toy voice changein megaphones are ripe for the tweaking! I have a few,
half of which ,sadly, sustained flood damage. I wanted to make a lifesize
megaphone with an 6" speaker and a 10 watt amp with 4 of those voice
changers in series, parallel or a combination of both. And with one of those
cheesy echo chips from a karaoke boombox... Imagine what a pitch shifter
would sound like in the feedback loop of a longish delay... I collect those
toy megaphones and those karaoke boomboxes.
"Don't worry. We won't hurt you. We only want to annoy the heck out of you
and your cats!"
