Yes, I consider most of my tube amp questions quite germaine to synth DIY, 
but I thought I'd direct the obviously OT and more esoteric questions to a 
group 100% dedicated to tubes.

But I really don't want to hassle with SPAM from google's Usenet so until I 
pick a decent news reader for XP or fire up a Linux machine again or find a 
tubes mailing list (web forums just aren't as good), I'll continue to share 
my tube stuff here.

I figure if I merely put "tube" in the subject, people can pick & choose 
whether they want to read it. ALthough I often find interesting info in 
threads I stumble onto accidently or by default when OUtlook Express opens 
up.
