i use my dremell in a stand--abt $40 stateside, and worth it.  i also use carbide drill bits, since steel gets unusably dull after about a dozen holes in fiberglass.  you can find them surplus pretty easy.  they are brittle, tho and will shatter w/ any lateral stress, so a press (and googles!) are essential.
