[sdiy] TR-808 woes

i will check though i don't think its the int/ext switch on the back

no cable and its set to internal, still no sync?
can i test the voices with CV/Gate?  maybe i can just use it like that
what chip does the 808 use for sequencing?

no there is no DINsync cable plugged in,  i believe its got to be  
something internal!

thanks for the suggestions though.....

there is no "hey after 20 years the 808 is know to do this...."  like  
the polysix battery acid or the juno 106 voices....
